Acoustic Cleaning Systems is the premier manufacturer of acoustic cleaners (sonic horns) for particulate removal worldwide. Our unique designs and American craftsmanship come together to produce the most robust, most durable, and highest quality acoustic cleaning systems available. We pride ourselves on our innovative technology, including our ACS Magnum horn, the most powerful compact acoustic cleaner available.
Acoustic cleaning is the process of using sound waves both to remove particulate build-up and prevent recurrence in a variety of industrial applications. Unlike other methods, acoustic cleaning is non-invasive, non-destructive, and fully automated. Our customers include power plants, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical companies, petrochemical refineries, food manufacturers, and many more.
If your process generates dry particulate buildup, we can help you minimize maintenance and increase efficiency with a custom solution, saving you time and money. We build our systems to be durable, not disposable.

Since our founding, Acoustic Cleaning Systems set out to be an affordable and reliable supplier of acoustic cleaners to the marketplace.
Company owner Paul Argo began his career at Drayton Corporation in 1989, promoting the Drayton Corporation acoustic cleaner product line.
The company's primary focus was on combustion processes within the utility and pulp and paper industries.
As the business grew, Paul got more involved with the day to day operational side of the company.
In 1999, Drayton Corporations owners (Jeff and Jake Shelton) decided to sell the acoustic cleaner product line to BHA Group from Kansas City, MO.

Acoustic cleaning is a maintenance method used in processes that produce particulate materials to remove buildup on surfaces.
It works by generating powerful sound waves that shake particulates loose from surfaces, reducing the need for manual cleaning.
The operation of an acoustic cleaner is simple - compressed air enters the sound generator, forcing a titanium diaphragm to flex.
This flexing causes a pressure fluctuation that is amplified by the horn bell.
The resulting pressure wave causes particulate matter to dislodge.
