Remove as much of the excess liquid or dried stain as possible by using a spoon or dull knife.
Then blot up as much of the stain as possible using a blotting motion.
Neutralize by spraying the affected area with an ammonia solution (1 tablespoon of clear household ammonia and 1/2 cup of water).
Care should be taken to remove all protein matter.
Spray lightly with water, do not blot this time; apply pad of paper towels and brick and allow to dry.
If there is still some stain on the carpet and blotting is not removing it, then moisten the tufts in the stained area with 3% hydrogen peroxide.
Our technician will do a walk-through inspection with you to identify soiling conditions, carpet construction, and potential permanent stains.
Your carpet is pre-vacuumed with a commercial vacuum, to remove bonded and soluble dry soil.
Sofas, chairs, and tables will be carefully moved.
Larger pieces such as beds and dressers are left in place under our regular pricing structure.
Furniture will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs.
Your carpet will be pre-groomed with a carpet groomer or rotary cleaning machine, depending on soil level, to further to loosen traffic area soil.
Daniels Floor Care is IICRC certified in upholstery cleaning and is recognized as one of the most educated and experienced upholstery care companies in southeast PA.
Upon a thorough inspection, our certified technicians will determine the proper cleaning procedure for your specific needs.
From heavily soiled to light cleaning, our 12 step cleaning process is designed to restore your furniture as close to its original condition as possible.
We can clean all types of upholstery, even the most delicate of fabrics.
Rug experts agree that in-plant rug cleaning is highly recommended for proper maintenance of Orientals and other loose-laid rugs.
Rug fibers are very different from those found in residential and commercial broadloom carpet.
There is far more natural fiber such as wool, cotton, silk and jute used in rugs than in broadloom carpet.
Backings are very different, as natural foundation yarns are more prominent in rugs as opposed to separate synthetic backing fabrics for tufted carpet.
Construction is different: woven constructions are most prevalent in area rugs, as opposed to tufting being the dominant construction in the broadloom market.
