Young's Cleaners first opened its doors 30 years ago to serve the Oakland community. In a brilliant moment of coincidence, or shear fate, the cleaners was already named after Young Kim, the matriarch of the family. On September of 2014, after lengthy renovations, Young's Cleaners re-opened its doors - with a new owner, Yong and Young Kim's son, David Kim.
Together with his team, their modern business practices, and customer-first ideals has scaled the business to new heights. Focusing on the quality, process, and results have grown to be second to none. David is in touch with the community, Oakland artists, and has truly elevated a local cleaners not just to a place to clean your clothes, but feel like family.

We can hem your dress, taper a suit, add a patch, and everything in between.
Alteration services are available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Customers are free to drop off their garments at any time but please note our turnaround might be longer than our usual three days.
