As Michael's Cleaners prepares to embark upon its 60th year in business, the owners look back fondly on the rich history of the company and also on 2007, which has been a year of significant change for the venerable cleaning business.
The business was founded in 1948 when Phyllis and Frank Czegledi opened Midway Cleaners along the Five Mile River in Rowayton.
It remained there for nearly 30 years before Phyllis and Frank's son, Michael, took over the business and moved it across the street to 160 Rowayton Ave.
