Once your rug makes it onto our wash floor, it shows us what it needs and when it's clean. We like to slow things down on the wash floor, letting rugs soak and the fibers release soil. 
Our rug repair and restoration process are collaborative; we provide knowledgeable and experienced opinions on age, value, and repair possibilities. 
Vacuuming your area rugs is essential; it helps to remove soils that can build soils that work their way into the foundation. These embedded soils accelerate wear and deterioration so vacuuming helps extend the life of your fine oriental rugs. That said, vacuums can damage area rugs too. For example, the rotating beater bar on an upright vacuum can suck the fringe ends of a carpet and rip them off. Care should be taken when vacuuming rugs to minimize the risk of damage to your rugs.

We just had 2 Gabbeh rugs cleaned and repaired by Reanissance Rug Cleaning. One of the rugs was over 15 years old and had never been cleaned before. Both rugs came back looking like new. In fact, they looked so good that we sent 2 more rugs to be cleaned. The service in the office and in the field was very helpful, friendly and professional.

Our labrador decided that our area rug would make a tasty meal and chewed at least nine areas of our decorative 8 X 11 rug. When Renaissance returned the rug to us, it was impossible to find the ares that had been repaired. They did an excellent job. Sadly, they declined an offer to take our dog. I highly recommend Renaissance Rug for damaged rugs. They made our rug like new.

Recommended by our vet due to furry companion little accident on our Karastan wool rug. Called Jennifer to inquire about it. She was super helpful and I ended up bringing our rug in to be cleaned. They completed it in a week, it looks great and at pick up the other lady (name slips my mind) was super helpful about providing us with a pamphlet about how to treat different kind of stains with which kind of process/cleaners in case something like this happened again. Delightful person and quality customer service.

Our Persian rug had not been cleaned in quite a few years. Renaissance picked it up, combed it, combed it and combed it, washed it and let it dry and washed it AGAIN. When it was returned to us it was bright, soft and beautiful--and they charged less than the original estimate because it was a little smaller than I had told them! Fabulous job!
