Rain Or Shine Window Cleaning
Since our old site was hard to update, we've decided to change it. We'll also be adding a blog here to inform you of news related to our services, as well as tips to help you maintain your windows. Thanks for stopping by to check out our new site. At Rain or Shine, our goal is to provide quality window cleaning for the eastside at a reasonable price.

Besides window cleaning, we also provide gutter cleaning services. And if there are some odd jobs that you'd rather not do do because they're up high, we also do a few other things. Our prices are reasonable, and we stand by our work, too. So stop looking around, and give us a chance to impress you.
Services
Rain or Shine Window Cleaning was founded in the 1970s by Len Zitzer.
Len did sub-contract work for other companies for more than 20 years.
In 1997, he started to work for himself, and his business took off.
After two years, he couldn't handle the work by himself, so he hired his daughter Jenna's future husband, Carl, to help with the work load.
These days, Carl is trying to answer all calls on his cell phone, so that Jenna can devote her complete attention to to their six children.
We have some full-time help, and occasionally some more help in the summer, during the busy months.
We will sometimes stray outside of the shaded areas.
So if you live on the border of our normal range, you can call and see if we'll make an exception for you.
We frequently provide services to Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue (along with Clyde Hill, Medina, Hunts Point, Yarrow Point), Redmond (also out on Novelty Hill, and Trilogy), Woodinville, Kirkland, and Mercer Island.
Many times customers ask us to do odd jobs that require tall ladders that homeowners don't have, or are uncomfortable using.
A few examples are listed below.
Not all of our crew will do all of the tasks listed above, and some will do even more.
So please make sure you book an appointment with a crew member who is qualified for the job.
We don't charge for giving estimates, and we try to do most of them over the phone.
This keeps our operating costs lower, and in-turn allows us to keep our rates reasonable.
If we had to go out to every house to estimate the cost, and then come back again when we had time to do the work, we would have to raise our rates or charge to do on-site estimates.
That being said, we often find that some houses are impossible to estimate over the phone.
They are often large houses (4500+ sqft.), houses with custom pieces of glass, houses with storm windows, and houses that are brand-new construction.
Some windows are just one pane.
They are usually called picture windows, and do not open, although some do crank open or push open.
Just remember that if a window is separated by a frame, it counts as more than one.
Also if it is an unusually large pane, then we will count it as two.
There are three major types of panes.
The first is a regular pane.
A regular panes is one that can be reached on the inside without a ladder.
The panes in the example picture from above, were regular panes.
The 2nd-story windows are bedrooms, and you can walk right up to the windows on the inside.
