A&E Cleaning and Grinding, Inc. along with its parent company Regent Die and Tool Company, Inc. can be your complete finishing department. Utilizing modern equipment with dedicated personnel, we can turn your rough casting into a complete finished product packaged to ship. A&E is a company that offers a highly efficient and cost effective casting cleaning operation that specializes in processing a vast array of ferrous and non-ferrous metals with a specialization in grey and ductile iron.
We have found that most foundries tend to direct their management and capital towards molding, core and melting operations, thus leaving the cleaning department as necessary, but costly expense. Our processing system is dedicated to synchronous product flow, utilizing one time through capability on our product specific line configurations.
Here at A&E, we value working closely with our customers in order to alleviate the high burden of operating your cleaning room while maintaining the level of quality demanded in the industry.

Services
A&E Cleaning and Grinding, Inc. is a 73,000 square foot manufacturing facility that is located off of 1-94, just minutes away from the General Mitchell International Airport.
Established in 2002, A&E was designed with the intention of servicing many needs a foundry may have, all under one roof.
Our facility is divided into core sections that allow us control product flow as well as track inventory.
Having these various dedicated sections enables us to accommodate a wide variety of products that many other grinding shops would struggle with.

Our facility is divided into two main grinding sections.
The first section has a core focus of cleaning and grinding castings that we classify as high volume.
These castings usually tend to be lighter in weight and therefore can be run down progressive lines for fast and consistent cleaning.
The second grinding section is where we run the lower volume, complex castings.
These complex castings have unique characteristics that make them an unfavorable choice for running down progressive lines.
These castings may have internal passageways, complex designs, large profiles or weigh anywhere from 50 to 4000 pounds.

Here at A&E Cleaning and Grinding, Inc. we realize that blasting is a necessary process that can lead to an internal bottleneck if demanded volume exceeds your amount of capacity available.
Our operation utilizes both tumble and spin blasting equipment that can support up to a 120 pound casting and 800 pound casting respectively.
Whether in the black blasting, finish blasting or re-blasting is required, A&E can accommodate these requirements.

Back in 2012, we added a state of the art Wagner powder coating system to the facility.
Powder coating is an electrostatic process that works by applying a dry powder to a pretreated casting.
Our 715 foot line allows us to support castings up to 300 pounds and produce a maximum 80,000 pounds of powder coated product a shift.
This capability, along with our close relationship with our powder finishing suppliers, allows us to accommodate the industry and work towards a solution to many finishing needs that may arise.
