Edmer Sanitary Supply Company is a family-owned business founded in 1959 by Bill Zeitlin, a Drill Instructor fresh out of the Marine Corp. Bill's brother Hal joined the company shortly after, and we leased our first building, a 5,000-sq-ft two-story barn, in North Bellmore, Long Island.
In 1965, Edmer purchased a 25,000-sq-ft building and relocated to East Meadow, where we are currently located.
Today, Edmer employs a staff of 20.
Bill put his heart and soul into Edmer Company.
Over the years, various family members came to work for the company.
